Time for some optimism

Player Valuation: £10m
Taking a holistic view on the season ending after 33 minutes on Saturday.

1. Moyes is off - but his possible replacement did well in his interview on Saturday. Tactically is much better than Moyes as he sets his sides up to win that specific game. Moyes plays same tactics/formation home to Tamworth as he would at the Nou Camp! Thanks for the memories Davey. Legend. But time to move on!
2. Phil Neville - Moyes goes then (if there is a God) then this lemon will also leave Everton FC forever. He epitomises everything that is wrong with Moyes' reign: Moyes favourite's getting picked regardless of form or talent. Worst captain in our history. At his peak he wasnt good enough for the bench the manulovingtw*t!
3. Fellaini sale. Fellaini is gone. Let the bidding war commence in the summer. We will get £25m at least. If we had a competent board we could get £35m for him to re-invest.
4. Baines sale. Not advocating this one, but if he wants to move on then his stock has never been higher and we should be able to get £20m for him - again to re-invest.
5. Youth - New manager will hopefully give youth a chance.
6. Striking coaching - imagine a manager/coaching team that actually improve a striker and realize that a striker is not an advanced defender!
7. The joy of watching another Moyes team. Whether it be Arsenal or Man U ( I suspect this is the biggest job he will ever get). WOuld love to see RVP after a Moyes pre-season. 10 goals in 38 games!!!
8. Attractive football. What is this again?

Everton Aren't we?

I'm going to find it difficult to be optimistic for the remainder of this season. I believe our season to be over, as I don't have faith in the current manager and his team to put things right.

Oh FFS

1 - I still don't want him
2 - While he may be well over the hill he has done well for the club. No need for this. Oh and he has raised his kids Everton fans.
3 - Money would be nice but why sell our best player?
4 - Koff
5 - Like Villa?
6 - Who?
7 - ??????????????
8 - We have playe dosme fantstic stuff, thsi is nonsense.

Oh and there are about 10 threads for the above points already

I agree with what your saying however I doubt ANY of the players feel the same way I/We do today. I feel worse than After the semi last year, fed up now and can't see any light at the end of the tunnel however this is Everton and we will probably go and batter City this weekend. I've just paid £765 to play 90 minutes at Goodison for the football aid charity and Phil Neville is stealing a footballers wage every week. What does Moyes see that I'm missing I just don't understand his thinking anymore. Any manager with his budget would have gone for Cahill, Jagielka and Baines etc so Moyes is no genius hence why he will NEVER be manager of Man U, Chelsea or City. He will go abroad Germany seems his chance because he will never make it as a top manager if an English Club. Ray Wilkins said he wouldn't get the Chelsea job in an interview this morning as "he isn't their style and hasn't won anything"
Good luck Mr Moyes I've said it several times leave NOW and let Stubbs and Ferguson run the team for the remaining games.

Dont know what to think, Martinez has his team in the relegation zone, fair enough he might have a lack of resources but people are demanding more off moyes despite his lack of funds too.

Id just like to see moyes given a chance with a £10+ net spend for one window then judge him, would he still play Neville?

Agree with this, if Martinez is so good then why he always in a relegation zone and they could go down this season. I do like it that he tired to be different but his results are not good tho. To be fair i recken Moyes will stay and wont be going anywhere.

Dubai-billionaire buys Everton - injects £500m into transfer kitty. Buys Xavi and Iniesta who sit on the bench as Moyes starts his love-child Neville in centre-midfield. Also signs Falcao who scores 7 league goals but that doesn't matter - he closes down the full-backs! #moyes

Best thread on here for a while

I would love to us playing a more attractive brand of football

Imagine us counter attacking and stuff

*Faints*

Sorry to be a neggy no no in such an optimistic and upbeat thread! But I fail to see how selling our best players is a positive, however each to their own.

55m for Baines and Fellaini! Just imagine what the new manager would be able to do with that 20m!!!

Nobody is demanding more in regards to league postion IMO

What we want is a manager who can change tactics week by week instead of the same thing year in year out

What we want is a manager who attacks games that we can and should win, Games like Norwich,Reading,QPR and Wigan, Go out to batter teams and play them off the park

What we want is a manager who goes to places like Anfield and Old Trafford and trys to win instead of looking for a draw

What we want is a manager who looks at the likes of Osman and Neville and thinks "You know what those two would be ****e at CM together"
