It's on I say......

6th and an FA Cup final would be a good achievement. 4th simply isn't going to happen, unless bale, mata and cazorla get injured for the season and we get lucky in a few games, there isn't even a sniff of it happening. there is definitely a chance we can catch arsenal, depending on how they react from going out of the champs league soon. but if it's still on with 2 games to go, even if we are ahead of them by about 4 pts, i wouldn't place my hopes on us not ****ing it up somehow

I hear what you say, and a lot of it makes sense. But not this season. This season's going to be our season. Believe!!!!!!!!!

i believed we had a chance if we strengthened our squad in january but we cocked it up. You see key players like pienaar and osman who have little left to give and it's only the start of march. we haven't used our squad well enough to keep our standard up for the whole season, because it's too small. If you have a small squad you have to use it to it's potential.

If we take 6 points from Arsenal & Spurs then I would agree that it's back on.

It's a big ask. TBH I don't think we'll do it. Let's face it, our record in these sort of do-or-die matches that really can move us on to the next level is very poor.

Realistically I think we're going to finish 8-10 points behind the 4th place finisher.

That's it really. We have the opportunity to play all the teams above us. If we're not good enough to beat them then we don't deserve it. If we are...well....

It looks out of reach now but got to be optimistic. This is were we are supposed to come good in the season and with a couple of big away wins out of them fixtures who knows. Going to chelsea last day of the season to fight for fourth would be naughty

Also the people commentating on this thread saying finish above them and a trip to wembley is a good season really need to think about what they're saying there. We want to be winning things now not just happy to get to wembley again thats an embarrassing outlook and precisely the mentality that will get us nowhere. Win the cup and get into europe, that is a good season.

FIXED

4th is long gone, most difficult run in plus a cup run to focus on.
Chance went with dropped points at home to Norwich, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Swansea as well as aways at QPR, Wigan, Norwich and Fulham.
If you were going to predict all those games, you'd have us down to win the majority.
