We've just won 3-1, with Jelavic involved in two of the three goals (distracted the 'keeper for Ossies, and basically won the penalty - or should have anyway) and who could have had two assists if Gibson and Jagielka had their shooting boots on, yet because he hasn't scored he's played badly apparently.

Didn't see much wrong with him at all today. A few loose touches, but he worked his arse off throughout, worked the channels again, made intelligent movement, acted as a water carrier repeatedly for Pienaar and Mirallas. A decent centre forwards game.

People seem to be tying too much importance on him nudging one in off his arse or something. If he had flicked in the Osman goal, people would be saying he had a good game.

The header he had in the first half that was a throw back to a Joey ten bob head Yobo effort, summed up his night, he was rank

The big concern is his touch, hold up play, and passing. They seem to have just gone missing.

The Torres comparison is fitting imo . not faulting the work rate, but it's the basics that seems to have done a runner

His hold up play and passing where markedly better tonight. Or I must have imagined his layoffs for Mirallas, Gibson and Jagielka to name three goalscoring chances.

He miscontrolled a few times but nothing along the lines of what a few are making out.

The pitch how crap was that tonight and it looks like it,s getting worse.

might help us against wigan

Take him out then mate, Moyes should be giving him five games on the bench to get his head together. Vellios, Anichebe and McAleny are probably better options to have up front that Jelavic at the moment. It's pointless persisting with him as he's not going to play himself back into form.

Defo. I'd have Velios in the team for Reading if Vic is still out.

Pienaar is not getting away without a ****ging either - I thought he was crap tonight...the strange voiced, god chugging blert

Pull yer finger out lad!

Who were the nobs booing Phil Neville every time he touched the ball tonight? Tossers. Overall a good performance against a difficult to beat team. Their goal was inevitable. The ITV commentary team was, as ever, woeful. Andy Townsend knows nothing about football and yet he was a professional???
