Performance levels haven't half dropped since December, haven't they? No urgency or composure from the players at all at times. I also refuse to believe that the squad are getting tired. Simple as.

Good win though like :p coyb and all that.

So do I. Physically they should be ok. Mentally though, they're probably getting worn down by Moyes Presbyterian doom and gloom dourness about not conceding and keeping it tight.

might get negged into eternity for this but I think our best CM partnership maybe Nev and Gibson

I might actually agree with you there but I think Fellaini/Gibson might be better.
Osman clearly plays better in that position.

But I thought Mirallas and Coleman were superb today, Coleman's defensive abilities have clearly got better, well done to the lad.

Why does it happen to all of our strikers though? I hate it. I love boss centre forwards slotting and generally giving centre halves nightmares in a blue shirt. That's what it's all about isn't it?

I do have sympathy with Moyes on jelavic. He's kept faith with him and the feller has had ample opportunity to do his stuff (especiallyn there tonight against that shower of ****e). He panics when he has the ball. It's the yips or something.

I'd have brought Vellios on. Seriously how could he have been worse? Jelavic is giving us three things at the moment: offside, the touch of a rapist and falling over under a whiff of pressure. It's f*cking tragic to watch.

He doesn't even look likely to slot, he's become a Croatian Torres. Get the Greek on FFS!

He's developed the football equivalent of dartitis

Take him out then mate, Moyes should be giving him five games on the bench to get his head together. Vellios, Anichebe and McAleny are probably better options to have up front that Jelavic at the moment. It's pointless persisting with him as he's not going to play himself back into form.

Jelavic doesn't really have any business having the ball though, all his good goals are from one touch.

He did lay a nice ball off to Gibson today...

A lot of people blame moyes for strikers loosing form but I don't buy that at all. Such a fine line between having confidence and feeling the pressure for Strikers. Psychology plays such a huge part in Football, it's not easy to get your head in the right place and keep it there.

If it was one or two strikers I could handle it mate but there's been a whole host of strikers in his eleven years that have failed to establish themselves as a consistent Everton forward. Only Yakubu come closest to it.

Pretty standard stuff tonight. Did enough to win, played well at times, still couldn't keep a clean sheet at home to relegation candidates 2 divisions below us.
