Osman & Gibson the partnership

Gibson and Fellaini were great together last season, but it wouldn't be a Moyes team without a ten goal-a-season target man, so I imagine things will stay as they are.

i dont get why he doesnt play naismith behind jelavic. he loved playing cahill there and naismith is a very similar player really.

I can understand people wanting Fellaini in CM because of his strengths there and to strengthen our midfield But.... To blindly look past how good he's been in that No.10 role is very naive...and to just think oh well play Naismith there!?!? Fellaini's goals there have been masively important, and I don't think anyone else would of scored so many and dominated games from that posistion so much in our team than Fellaini has.

Some great knee jerking here lads. Funny how when we were playing well at the start of the season, Felli was banging in goals left, right and centre, whilst Osman was so effective he earnt an England call up.

Now, because we aren't doing so well, both are suddenly in the wrong positions/or are generally a bit crap.

People use this logic to have an incredibly rose tinted perspective on players like Carsley and Parkinson. Both were decent at the defensive stuff, but neither were any good on the ball whatsoever. I'd go as far as to say that technically, Phil Neville was more gifted than those two, and that's saying something.

He's not creative enough for that role though. Think he's created 3 all season.

Think you've missed the point. Neither are ball winning Midfielders and they aren't winning the ball back enough.

Parkinson matured from early days as an enforcer to being a dominant near complete central midfielder - at which time God injured him, but continues to spare Osman.

Erm im pretty sure we played Arteta and Fellaini next to eachother and it didnt work. As someone said above, some massive kneejerking!
Got to apologise about a player having a dip in form.

....you lads are so clever being able to upload responses like this. Even when they are aimed at me I think they are really funny. A picture says more than a thousand words. Great stuff.
