know what your sayin like, just seems a bit of a mission car, train, bus, bus, train car. Prob good advice like.

I tell you were is decent, parking by the Mons, even then though, nightmare getting away.

I dunno, maybe its just me, I can never stand parking by the ground

Always a good bet going in the Chinese next to the Everton shop mate, hot wok it's called I think.
£7.50 for a meal and a drink and to sit in I think, £5 when taking out.

Good Chinese that...went in at 3pm an coz I was last customer they basically give me what they had left! I must of got like 3 portions for a fiver! The boys wer made up wen I got in the ground wiv that bad boy! We all had a good bash...nice 2!

I have parked round goodison for 15 yrs mate...never had a prob (other than the cheeky little 'minded ur car mate' chavs!)

Eh...i used to mind cars myself when i was a kid growing up by the ground, its called entrepreneurial spirit !!!!

As for the oldham fella, i would park on walton hall avenue (same side as the sports centre)...10 min walk to and from the ground and your away no problem (if you park that side of the road)...you will be either on the lancs straight down past kirkby within 5 minutes, or jump on the m57 at gillmoss/kirkby within 5 minutes too.

Hahaha, they still going?

Ye mate! Last time i took the car, I walked behind a couple of young lads back to the car from the game and wen I got about 50 yards from the motor they turned round an said 'minded ur car mate'...u can imagine my response...

Thanks for all the help, yeah i'll be taking the m62, after that not too sure, i just stick it in the sat nav . Probably would prefer secure car park, within say 10 mins walk to the ground. So which ones would you suggest, so i can stick it in the sat nav, bearing in mind if the match goes to extra time i'll be walking back late at night, so a well lit area would be appreciated, and ideally one where it's generally safe. Dont really know Liverpool that well, but Oldham has quite a few areas you wouldn't want to walk through once it gets late, let alone park in

Hahaha, my mate is a red, and he said years ago he said to some scals, "if you mind me car i'll buy you all a Maccy's".

Comes back after the game, the kids had cleaned the car spotless, bought them all a maccys and give them couple of quid each, they were made up

As long as u walk with the match traffic u will be happy days...jus follow ur sat nav till u are 2 miles from GP an jump in 1st secure car park u see...there is loads like. Stay on main rd...don't bang it in any little dodgy side streets ...

Pricey valet that tho innit! Bearing in mind he had to get the Hoover out wen he got home to finish the inside! Lol

On a side note, I think it'd be a fairly welcoming atmosphere for the Oldham supporters. Everyone loves an underdog & that's the beauty of the FA Cup....oh, and you beat the SHlTE as well!

Can't help you out on this one mate (though it seems like you've been given a few options). However, hope you and your daughter enjoy your visit (if not the result. Again, I'm hoping. Wouldn't be surprised if you beat us). Have a safe round trip.
