He needs to improve his fitness and he can be a bit laid back at times but he does try, no question about it. He gets frustrated with himself which he needs to get over and concentrate on football but he's still young and this will come with experience.

It suprises me to be honest, you said a week or so ago you'd rather have Alan Smith who hasn't scored in two years. What would he offer what Vic doesn't? I'd rather have Anichebe than Smith.

He's scored 5 goals in 44 games according to Wiki.

He's just not a good footballer at all. I liked him till last season when he started being all furious on the pitch and sulking.

As a 5th choice striker he's very useful, anyone who can get 5 goals a season is useful and especially with our small squad.

I just hope we can get a new striker in so that he is 5th choice and we don't have to rely on him. I agree he's never going to be great but people are quick to dismiss him and he's only 19/20. He's still a young lad, he's going to have his ups and his downs and he's going to be frustrating.

I repect your opinion, I just think he's a useful squad player.

As do i, i can see where people still have hopes for him.

But i really thought he was dreadful at the end of the season.
