I think moysie is just being loyal to kenwright he knows the situation and like wyness won,t tell us the truth.
On another note muamba looked good fr bolton a snip at 5 million so there are layers out there we will just have to wait for the lies to dry up.

lets see what happens with redknapp and the west ham job.

something is cooking, diarra and kranjcar are two top midfielders and would really improve our squad.

actually, once I asked about him in the forum. The only time i've seen him was in an U-21 match and he looked good.

Indeed. We should still be looking at moutinho, unless sporting have out right rejected all offers for him, then i don't see why he is out of our reach, same with m'mbia.

Got to be the cash thats the problem, i mean isnt it in his contract he gets 10% of every substantial bid rejected? We bid 15mil for him officially if they turn that down make another bid of £17mil, surely they cant afford to have him £3mil just like that to keep his services?

Muamba isn't good enough for us, he's got potential but his passing is sloppy and despite his size he's lightweight. Not for me anyway, Rodwell has the potential to be better than him.

One player I would have loved is Gaby Mundingayi who used to play for Lazio. Sadly he's moved to Bologna. Quality player, very strong and good on the ball. I watched him for Belgium in an international game against Portugal and he dominated.

No, that clause ran out in mid june or july.

Ah well, maybe time to give in on this deal, you get the feeling that Sporting may have dragged the talks out to get past that deadline so we couldnt just make it cost too much for him to stay?

Id be happy if we just bought these two tbh, maybe add smith or someone in too, weve got anichebe and vaughan for cover for yakubu, and both are capable...

That may not ne exactly like that. I'm sure the deal was well covered and that wouldn't be the case.

Nevertheless, without a written offer that clause wouldn't come into place.

And Everton never made a written offer....I wonder why...

And forget about Moutinho. Yesterday the lad played in the Portuguese Super Cup against Porto, was still the captain and lifted the cup in the end. 25M euros or the matter is settled.

Actually when Everton came in the clause had already run out.

if i had 30 million + id blow it on moutino and canna

if i have 25 million id blow it on moutinho and johnson

if i have 20 million id blow it on johnson and fernandes / or just moutinho

if i had 16 million id blow it on fernandes and m'bia / or johnson and m'bia

if i had 10 million id blow it on fernandes

if i had less than 10 million, id quit and then killl the chairman becouse we are then in the realms of smith , fletcher , nolan , davies , ljungberg etc etc.

aswell as the above i'd loan a gk , cd and a striker.

The problem I have is we don't even look close to signing anyone. Even the Tiago news has gone quiet as has the M'Bia news.

We need players this week, if we don't get atleast on midfielder in we will be beaten by West Brom.

Are you sure? I thought only the buy out clause was active between these months, not the clause linked to his pay. Im fairly sure they have to pay him the % @ whatever time of year.

not sure if we will be beaten , but they played very well against arsenal at the emirates and were unlucky not to get a point.
they looked in better shape than blackburn imo.
so , yea its gonna be just as tough as saturday if not tougher.

i cant see any players coming in this week though , let alone players of enough quality to raise our level.
ie , rather than build and buy players to go straight into and improove our best 11 , the club will just add squad players to make up the numbers.
