Ok Mate xx
He got a job offer through Monday night football.![]()
Helps to raise his profile though, and when he's no longer EFC manager, will continue to further his reputation to any would-be employers of him being of a sound football mind.
It's not THE reason he will get a managerial job; it gives him something to do whilst he's waiting for the job he wants though.
On a side note - and this doesn't apply to Moyes - haven't you ever noticed how out of work managers suddenly get their grids on tv when they're suddenly actively looking for a job again? Recent examples: Allardyce on ITV (pre-West Ham); Benitez on Sky (pre-Chelsea); Dalglish on ESPN (pre-Liverpool); and lots more examples. You watch - Nigel Atkins will show up any week now. It's a well known tactic used by all well-connected agents to get their clients back in work. TV is a very powerful tool.
did he mutter hi roman while winking at the camera and seductively licking his lips and playing with his nipple?
Oh you must have found the part in my post where I said that all this was Moyes' fault but the Board is blameless. Likewise it is a waste of my life debating anything with you as you think the sun shines out of Moyes' arse and that the Board are to blame for everything including the resignation of Pope Benedict.
I am amused that you think our inability to register an away win in 10 years at Old Trafford, Highbury / Emirates or Anfield is entirely the Boards fault. Bizarre breed of fan.
Another manager (Laudrup, Lambert, and now Clarke) to win at there 1st attempt across the park , hopefully moyes can finally learn how its done doing the up close Analysis and all
We have some very diverse opinions which is a good healthy place to be for a forum....but some of the anti-Moyes ones are incredible. Its strange how some people's agendas completely take over all common sense.
.
DO YOU SERIOUSLY THINK NOBODY KNOWS WHO MOYES IS?
The people who Moyes would have to "Raise his profile" too, are not going to do their hiring on the back of a punditry on Sky Sports, or on any other channel. If they did, Colin Murray would be managing Stockport.
Embarrassing how many people missing the point. Just wait and see, but take it from me, it's raised eyebrows amongst certain people who know Moyes well.
Missing what point?
Embarrassing my arse
Taking my words out of context. Making out I was claiming Moyes did MNF to 'raise his profile'.
Look, Moyes does **** all tv for 11 years (summer tournaments don't count, different rules, everyone does them), then does 2 nights in succession, at opposite ends of the country, sandwiched between a massive game at Man Utd and a massive-in-a-different-way game at Oldham 6 days later. The players were in for the training yesterday and today. Moyes wasn't there. This comes at a time when Moyes is saying **** all about his contract which expires at the end of the season, and the local journos who know Moyes inside out are now publicly tweeting what they've been saying privately for the past few weeks - that Moyes probably isn't going to sign a new contract. You join up the dots.
If you don't agree with this, fine, but don't shoot the messenger. Also if you don't agree, try to give an opposing view that's more substantial than 'Missing what point? Embarrassing my arse' and cowardly negative repping me for stating a concern. I thought this board was better than that. Most people on here generally are, anyway.
Firstly I never took your words out of context - I stated that in my opinion your 'point' was none existent & your self absorbed comment that those who somehow missed it, should be 'embarrassed' was therefore bollocks IMO
Secondly, the actual content of your post is incorrect, Moyes has done various Tv assignments over the years, & your 'motive' makes **** all sense IMO as he has no need to promote himself in the UK
Lastly I didn't neg rep you, so feel free to retract that any time you like
without wanting to be pedantic, Norwich only drew at Anfield last season
