Just saying.....

What makes us better?

Losing our best players makes us better!

Yay!

It's exciting, will be like 2009 all over again.

Just when it looks like we can step up to the next level by signing new additions ( Not selling core players ) we go through the routine of selling one of our main players and the rebuilding stage again. It's a cruel circle, one which could go badly wrong.

If we could sell Fellaini for say £25m and Moyes was given all of the money to spend, I think he would make us a better team.

There's a lot of 'ifs' there though.

Nah.

The extra money is about £20m. Gate receipts are noticeably up on last year and we're looking likely to finish at least one place higher than last season in the league, which is worth about £1m.

That's true. However, my fear is that the increasing debt brings with it ever increasing costs of servicing that debt and just becomes a vicious circle of ever increasing overall debt.

I am starting to think we might just be better off selling Fellaini and putting that money along with the TV money and paying off all the debt so that the club can sustain itself. It might not mean that we will attract a buyer but it can't hurt to be debt free.

And if we keep Fellaini? Stagnant, whilst his value goes down over another season.

New blood and start again.

Wouldn't work.

You do that and the team would suffer, which means we'd probably lose money through league placings and the gate receipts would go down again just like they did last season.

The debt isn't a big concern compared to the impending management issue.
