Apparently Roman Abramovich was tweeting in interview questions

ASK DAVID# What do you do if your leftback shags behind the back of the nation's princess??

did he mutter hi roman while winking at the camera and seductively licking his lips and playing with his nipple?

Love the excuses. I think it's probably because West Brom spent loads during the transfer window so their massive squad is less tired than ours.

Nah, having watched the game it was because their keeper had a worldie and they rode their luck massively before scoring against the run of play from a corner.

They probably had a massive slice of luck earlier in the season when they beat Liverpool at home too. It's amazing how lucky other teams can be don't you think? I still think the transfer window probably affected them massively though.

Obviously they arent as lucky as us seeing as we are ahead in the table. And yeah i agree i think they had a bit of a nightmare in the window with the Odemwingie business, probably contributing to them losing 5 of their last 6 games.

He's not going to get a managerial job based on being on Monday night football.

Helps to raise his profile though, and when he's no longer EFC manager, will continue to further his reputation to any would-be employers of him being of a sound football mind.

It's not THE reason he will get a managerial job; it gives him something to do whilst he's waiting for the job he wants though.

On a side note - and this doesn't apply to Moyes - haven't you ever noticed how out of work managers suddenly get their grids on tv when they're suddenly actively looking for a job again? Recent examples: Allardyce on ITV (pre-West Ham); Benitez on Sky (pre-Chelsea); Dalglish on ESPN (pre-Liverpool); and lots more examples. You watch - Nigel Atkins will show up any week now. It's a well known tactic used by all well-connected agents to get their clients back in work. TV is a very powerful tool.

No doubt. And they probably raised their game tonight because they were keen to take a big scalp. Which probably explains our inability to beat some of the lesser teams this season. And Man U, Arsenal, and Chelsea presumably also lift their games when we play at their grounds as they are threatened by us and want to put us in our place. I think that's a plausible explanation for 10 years of away futility. I think we could get lucky this year though just like some other teams. We are due one slice of luck every decade or so I assume?

Oh and don't get me wrong, I am rather glad we are currently 5 points ahead of Albion (no doubt helped by them losting 5 of their last 6 games). We are definitely punching above our weight there because Albion are massive spenders. We should probably be grateful we are 5 ahead of Swansea as well given their expensively assembled squad. With their massive squad no doubt contributing to them making a cup final. Oh and some luck of course.

I see you are one of these people who will excuse the board everything, but excuse Moyes nothing. Bizarre breed of fan. Waste of my life debating anything with you.

Oh you must have found the part in my post where I said that all this was Moyes' fault but the Board is blameless. Likewise it is a waste of my life debating anything with you as you think the sun shines out of Moyes' arse and that the Board are to blame for everything including the resignation of Pope Benedict.

I am amused that you think our inability to register an away win in 10 years at Old Trafford, Highbury / Emirates or Anfield is entirely the Boards fault. Bizarre breed of fan.

I watched the match analyse and Moyes didn't really contribute to much. I didn't get to see the questions from twitter part, anything interesting?
