Oldham away

Right decision not to base it on FA Cup stubs really, it takes a lot more effort to get Prem away credits as you pretty much need a season ticket to have a chance. It would be wrong if somebody who had been to one away game this season in the cup got tickets ahead of somebody who had done 5 or 6 aways.

The problem I have found is that if you can't manage to get to the early season away games, you can be stuffed. As you are always chasing away credits and quite often due to poor allocation numbers can't get the chance. Bit of a catch 22

Everton allocate there tickets excellent to be honest.

If you are on 4 and never qualified I can understand your disappointment but unfortunately the person who's been to 5 and took your ticket earned the right to it.

I missed the first five aways and still managed to get to 6 credits (will be 8 after the Norwich game). As long as you're on the ball it's sound.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it's impossible, but due to work, getting to a string of away games is difficult for me, and then when they fall right I can't get one due to lack of credits. Having said that I believe the system is the fairest way to go, and those that go to the most away games deserve to be first in line.

Some early aways this season went on general sale, it is possible to get aways early on, you just have to be committed from day one and take the risk we will progress in the cup, or get drawn at home!

The way They've done it is sh*te, I'm all in favour of allocating tickets to those who attend the most games but ive been to 6 aways, two of them happen to be Bolton & Leeds though, so some people who have been to less aways have been given credit over me, how's that right?

I wouldn't mind aswell but I chose to go to Leeds rather than a league away, The club didnt make people aware back then that it wouldn't be worth [Poor language removed] all

That would be fair enough if it was done consistently, but it's not. They never use odd numbers for Prem games so why start doing it for the cup ?

I reckon they wanted them sold as quick as possible. They couldn't have started at 4, as there would have been too many and there might have been big queues around Goodison. When that happens, for health and safety reasons they have to open up the Park End concourse for fans to queue in.

They could have started at 6, but they probably knew there were fewer than 2800 who had 6+ credits, and thus it would have had to go to a lower number, and thus another day. They started at 5, because they knew that was the extent of those who fitted the allocation size.

Anyway, it's 'Everton' and 'ticket selling arrangements'; a season never passes without some sort of controversy.

By the way, anyone needing credits, word to the wise... Norwich is down to STH only at the moment, no credits needed. On Friday it goes on General Sale. If it gets to that, ideal opportunity to get a credit if you need it (and go the game obviously).

sometimes theres a element of luck on how fixtures fall ive got 8 credits this season but only because the near games were all before christmas and cant afford london games this season they could have been after and only a couple of credits up till mid 2006 id done 20 full seasons home/away but that counts for nothing nowadays so only fair the way everton do it.

How ?
Unless an away went to general sale you needed a season ticket,so unless all aways went to general then you could only get to all aways on tickets bought by others.

I'm a shareholder so I get perks like Bill coming to pick me up for the games and Carl Tyler bringing me a flask of coffee at half time.

It ain't fair on the face of it buddy, but they can't change the allocation process, I do understand your point as I have been to Leeds, Cheltenham and Bolton but they don't count! Tickets for Cheltenham clearly indicated cup games don't count as did Bolton so it should not be a surprise that they don't count for Oldham. Just sayin, not want to anger you any more but we all knew beforehand!
