As ever with Everton and tickets, something doesnt add up

We can criticise the club for a lot of things, but this isn't one of them. It is obviously a decision that has been made by Oldham. Like Bolton, they probably want to keep it as a home game without letting thousands of our fans in which might take away the positive of them having home advantage. Everton said themselves we could have taken at least 10,000 to Bolton so they are hardly going to request a smaller allocation if we could have got 4,500 are they?

Very surprised we're only getting 2800. More than Liverpool received, but obviously not the whole stand.

Either there will be no Oldham fans next to us in the stand, which would be bloody stupid on Oldham's part, sacrificing a potential £40k in ticket revenue; or the police have backed down and Oldham have given them assurances that there would be no trouble.

Or a 3rd option, Everton asked for a smaller allocation - which I don't think even they'd do, given we sold 4500 for Bolton very easily.

Cant they put up a temporary stand or something on the side of the ground with no terrace or seats? Would make sense I reckon.

Probably right mate; bit of scaffolding and some plastic seats shouldnt be that much, especially if they can knock out tickets at £25-£30 a pop. Health n Safety more likely.

Or the under 19's since theres one or two everton players playing for the under 19's

Think the u21's is on ESPN, but can't check for sure at the minute.
