If money is so tight why spend so much on oviedo a player who can't get a game?

Moyes bought Jagielka and put him central midfield. LOL Heitinga the same LOL. Bilyeletdinov was playing in the middle and he plays him wide left.

he does have a knack of buying players and not knowing their best positions and for alot of money.

It was only like £1.6m upfront, not sure it's £5m myself but perhaps the difference is made up by appearances.

They didn't. They spent 1.2 million on him.

And they did it because we needed cover for Pienaar and Baines. It's damned shortsighted to say we don't need any injury cover just because we haven't had any injuries there yet.

And, as much as I don't rate Moyes too highly, anyone criticising his record in the transfer market needs to give their head a shake. It's by far his best asset.

Also, he put Jagielka and Heitinga in midfield because we already had solid central defenders and poor midfields. Neither of them played there for long at all. Also, Bilyaletdinov repeatedly said he prefers playin left wing so you're way out on all accounts there.

Don't know what anyone else thinks, But i think Oviedo will end up being a very good player, He's only 22, Seems to have a good head on his shoulders, Good technical player and works hard, Think he'll improve over time and eventually replace pienaar.

It's not £5m surely?

Its about £2m tops.

We've paid copenhagen 1.2 million according to what they've told their share owners.

It's possible that we owe them more in installments, though. 1.6 and 1.2 were the figures published in some papers, though.

I'd like to see more of him. Surely a better option on the right than Naismith?

He's never played on the right has he?
