It was a bit unorthodox though mate wasnt it?

I dunno, do other clubs do it ? Suppose you'd have to look at other teams' official sites for examples of it happening.

It's all by the by really, they announced it on the official site but that will have had no effect on anything, lets be honest. It's simply made people fume if they've chosen to ignore the difference between 'deal done and wrapped up' and 'agreed fee pending medical'.

All joking aside, what exactly will we be offering different now? My gut instinct tells me this wont happen now, because when you look at him, he is exactly what we are lacking.

Thats exactly the reason why i think it WILL happen!. Moyesy knows he's what we need!. Were trying to pay a lesser sum upfront and then more money based over a longer period of time or games due to this knee injury he previously had.

If this continues tomorrow and into the last hours on thursday, this thread will defo reach 10000 posts. Or the site will crash for good. I'll have my popcorn ready.

The club did it with the Rodwell deal ? not that unorthodox

didn't they do it with oviedo too?

Unorthodox by our standard mate. We confirmed the deal before any discussion (The player confirmed he hadn't spoken to Moyes...) - surprised is all.

But as you say, 'by the by'...
