just a rumour lads been doing the rounds, cartilage problem, he wants to join everton want him, he says he is fit but we want guarantees, not dead in the water yet, its just a rumour don't know anything concrete

It sounds like a deal was never fully agreed according to those Dutch links and yet yet moyse said today he was halfway thru a medical! Only at fkn Everton!...Moyse wouldnt go near any questions about fer today When he was quized on him at the press conference . He had a face like thunder..should have known :@

Massive 2 days for the club now. If we go into Saturday with no players added it will have a impact on the manager and players.

This could be a defining moment for a William Kenwright.

I'm pretty sure they do this to keep us on our toes. The photo of them in the Jet was actually Hired from the Set of the next James Bond film.

Cheers Edge. That's all I need to read here.

Supporting Everton really hammers home the fact that there is no such thing as a sure thing. First with coming out with a bid with real money when we thought we'd get a loan at best then seemingly messing up a transfer that seemed all but done.

If this deal goes t*ts up then we will be the biggest laughing stock if the premier league. Why do we put up with all this cr*p?

Clubs agree to a fee subject to a player satisfying a medical. If it turns out that EFC found something they did not like in the medical, they can decline the original agreement and counteroffer new terms if they want the player on reduced or amended terms. That appears to be most likely if these rumors are accurate.

If there were performance payments built into the original agreement, they would almost certainly be renegotiated if a medical turned up something that could affect those bonuses being triggered.

Hold your "Fer [Poor language removed] Sakes Blues", no need for long faces just yet. The Horse hasn't Bolted - negotiation all part of transfers.

So off or on?

Standby lad... it seems.

Three possible reasons for this:
a) He's failed his medical
b ) A potentially problematic issue has being picked up on during the medical and we're not willing to spend £8mil upfront on a risk
c) Somebody has made up the medical stuff and we just don't have any money

B looks the most likely
