Jags..class

Player Valuation: £70m
Ive read this today from the Spurs and the rs fans, that the 4th place is more important. True cos it brings lots of money. But its now only an extra 4 games now to win it so it not like overkill and gives them the advantage plus it a great day out and that what football is about. Dont liverpool and spurs have Europe football to come.

Its what we would have said if we got knocked out by Bolton

True but is really true tho? do we only say it to make ourselves feel better. How can the extra games effect our chase for 4th and it sad that 4th is more important then the F.A cup, if i had to pick one this season, it would be the F.A cup.

It's a definite advantage in the league for Liverpool and Spurs, especially due to how narrow our squad is, so at this point we're now "in for a penny in for a pound" with the FA Cup as we've sacrificed any chance of 4th really.

But they have Europe football and its over 2 legs.

Mate I've read evertonians on tinternet without a hint of shame saying we don't need to win trophies.

As much as I enjoy reading forums a good 50% of posters are unusual.

Its just something fans say to make themselfs feel better

Same as when there well beaten by a lower league team and they say "They just wanted it more" nope they just played better football

By having to play one extra game (so far) we've sacrificed fourth?

Lol nah.

4 games. They're professional footballers, not overweight slobs who play 5 a side once a week. Plus them two are in the Europa League anyway which is much more games with long distance trips.

And it's the FA Cup FFS. Give me a choice between the two and I'd probably choose 4th but you can't say we've sacrificed any chance of it.

It's what everyone says after getting knocked out. There's a thread of truth to it in the sense that there is a positive side of having less games. However no prem team wants to be out of the cup.
