Could we make it as managers?

On a serious note though,,,,,,, Rafael Benitez has reportedly come out and said he needs money to make some urgent signings before the window shuts next week..........now forgive me for being honest but If you can't manage a team with all that talent at your disposal such as Chelsea have then in my opinion you should'nt even be in the game....Beniyez can manage with a cheque book , that's all.................any joker can do that.
Does anyone realistically think that FSW has any say on who they sign though?

He is just a chequebook manager as is Harry the darling of the press but anyone who thinks a manager at Chelsea signs the players is way off the mark.

lets accept for argument's sake that all our fans are incompetent , useless and have no chance of making a good manager - where does that leave us ?
speechless, opinionless ,clueless , mere observers and admirers , just a bunch of couch potatoes making up numbers ?
certainly not - if that was the case why do you vote at every election if you know you can't ever be a good prime minister -
being a prime minister or a soccer manager makes you subject to public scrutiny , praise as well as criticism - you are a public figure and should expect and handle both the positive and the negative

Honestly if you think you'd be anywhere near good enough as a Premier League manager you are utterly mental.

This is a thread isn't it?

Well, I'd just like to say that I once took Taiwan to the World Cup semi finals on Sensible World Of Soccer.

So yes. Yes I could manage Everton.

Honest to god lads, see once the boys see me storm out of a press conference and give them 3 days off training?

Champions.

Getting paid and with a staff to watch for players and other sides means a build up of info allowing a better overall view of the big picture in terms of competing in whichever league assigned. Horses for courses? definitely. But natural enthusiasm and a grip of the realisms of the game coupled with a stern cynical approach to the BS that has attached itself parasitically to said game being equally important.
