Where will the club be in 5 years time. I see no strategy.

With wages increasing, the ground not an issue, david moyes contract up in the summer, lots of players getting older with longer contracts into their mid thirties.

Wheres the five year plan?

Opening a can of worms here mate, the thought "MOYES HAS GONE!!" pervades.

Short thread I imagine. Many reaching for a cruciifix and a hand gun containing silver bullets while trying to find your address.

If we are still 5th in the league with our finances I will be fairly happy to be honest.
Look on the bright side, we are where 95% of the other teams in English football would want to be!
Yes, we're skint but at least we're competing in the top league - things could be a lot worse.

Until we get investment, we aren't able to move forward, we can't get much more revenue from attendance, merchandise or other off shoots. The tele money will help, however every club will get that.

Until we secure true investment, BK will only be able to keep the club ticking over. Lets be honest, until we get a new ground, we aren't getting more money. If we get champions league it will be from DM and pray we don't go out in the first round. It's amazing we have kept going.

every year we are around the top half of the table I count it as a bonus and think to myself surely this time in 10 years Kenwright will surely not still be around, be it by death or just old age like deadly doug at villa as lets face it we aint moving forward til Kenwright goes and no one will buy the club whilst he is in good health he loves it.

The board of directors' five year plan is the same as the last five year plan and the five year plan before that: take out loans, sell players and use tv money to prop up the club against insolvency; cast around for some mugs to pay for and build a new stadium; continue to not put a penny into the club.
