I dont know about that. Under soil heating is quite expensive to maintain and they rarely ever get conditions worthy of it. One game cancelled in about seven years i think a Saints fan said.
Maintain? What, you mean general maintenance over the years? Can't be that expensive. Or if you mean to use, surely they don't need to have it on all the time

Anything underground -- be it sewage/water pipes, electrical wires, or Korean style ondolheated flooring -- is expensive to maintain because you can't just repair it like you would something that's above ground and easily accessible.

The Southampton game will go on. They've got the weekend to sort it out.

Well I live in Brighton not too far from Southampton and the snow is belting down, I live 200 yards from the sea and apparently it never snows here....how effin wrong! Could be a good chance it might get called off

Brighton is 60 miles from Southampton. What the weather is doing in Brighton is completely irrelevant to weather in Southampton.

I live 60 miles from Aberdeen. It's snowing there and we've seen barely a drop.

Southampton do have under soil heating.
There is a paper report as previously linked in this thread that say they don't yet other sources (which is the one I saw first) say they are having problems with it, which would suggest that they do have it, or the engineer is wasting his time trying to fix it. If they don't have it then if they survive they will have to have it next year as the PL give promoted clubs one year's grace and then it has to be installed.

I just hope it is on, simply because one of our advantages over our 4th place rivals is that we have a lot if not all midweek's free and they don't this will clog a week up if it is called off, and the chances of this Everton squad putting 3 wins together in a week in the later part of the season is unlikely.

This has probably been said as i havnt caught up on this topic but they dont have it even though its supposed to be a prerequisite of prem league membership....they have a bubble and hot air system, wotever that is!

Also if the game is off (hope it isnt after all the money ive spent on tickets, travel and hotel) we will be a better squad when its rearranged. Mirallas back, and our new signings.
