Up until last season he was very good for us imo, cult player who will be looked back on more fondly by Evertonians than by Man Utd., Spurs, Fulham or S'land fans. Could turn a game around by himself.

To be fair mate i think a lot of his laziness was due to him being s**t scared of injuring himself constantly. When you have a body made of glass like him you have to try and save it for when real goal scoring moments come up. Unfortunately that doesn't really suit Everton's game.

This. He reigned in the aimless hoof chasing near the end of his Everton career and managed to stay injury free.

It's all opinions really but I didn't think he was lazy. I thought he was just scared of getting injured for the 50th time. His body is his career, and each injury could have been the one to end it.

When he was on song he was absolutely unplayable, but of course injuries made those days few and far between. That said, and despite a few hideous barren runs in the team (not all his fault/injuries, often our tactics weren't conducive to goalscoring chances for him) he still finished his Everton career with a reasonable scoring record. Basically 1 goal in every 3 games, plus a few top memories thrown in too -- Chelsea, the four against Blackpool. So I don't harbour anything negative towards the lid. I liked Saha. I think context evades those who have nothing but hatred for him.

West Ham away where he won us the game from behind by scoring a couple and putting a great cross in for a Lescott header is my favourite memory of him. He was phenomenal that day and hit a proper belter from outside the box with his right. Vive Le France.

Chelsea at home a couple of years back, when he was simply unplayable.

Hated him so much.

I know mate but I wouldn't expect anything else from Moyes' #1 fan. Moyes really got the absolute worst out of him near the end of his Everton career.

"Oh I've got a sensational finisher on the books, with a bit of ingenuity in front of goal. But his legs are made out of eggshells and blu-tak. So yeah, I know, I'll ask him to run around like a headless chicken tracking back, drifting out wide and generally not going in the area. Ace."

I remember he played alongside Beckford very briefly, who instead was doing the legwork, and they both scored a boatload of goals.

Quite liked him. Moyes just can't seem to hack it when it comes to strikers, gradually they all become a shadow of their former selves under Moyes.

Could have been great and was when he could be arsed. I can understand that he was injury prone and that but just at least break a sweat Louis lad! For a free signing he was decent though so I wish him well.
