Everton Accounts Released

How is Rangers goosing the tax man a valid reason for posting baseless **** about Everton?

You used the criteria 'They have to operate within the same legal framework that every other business in the country does, they have to file accounts, they have to obey the law'.

Glasgow Rangers - operated 'within the same legal framework that every other business in the country'
Glasgow Rangers - had 'to file accounts'
Glasgow Rangers - had 'to obey the law' until the business and those accounts were looked at a bit more closely.

Just because you obey the legal framework and file accounts does not mean everything is whiter than white.

Absolutely nothing then, thanks

Actually the business model isnt that difficult to compare to the American NFL.
Each league is #1 in viewership, attendance, tv deals, sales, and popularity but all of the NFL teams are in the black.

The marketed difference. Salary Cap and transfer fees.

It wont work unless FIFA enforce it globally (and I dont know how they would) but the ability for the owners to control the player wages better would see a huge change in the bottom line.

This x5000. But I think you meant NO transfer fees.

Salary cap is well and good but I'm not having a false metocracy. If you win things and get big crowds you should be rewarded for that and if you're good at spotting bargains you should be rewarded for that too.

Wasn't arguing for or against transfer fees, but I was pointing out a typo from an earlier post comparing the NFL (teams making money) vs the EPL (most teams losing it).

He has answered your question, has a point and is completely correct in what he's saying.

He's done nothing of the sort

All he's done is used a totally irrelevant comparable to somehow attempt to justify the libellous bollocks that I was referring to, being thrown at the hapless Kenwright

Yes he did. You used the following to say everything at Everton is kosher:

They have to operate within the same legal framework that every other business in the country does, they have to file accounts, they have to obey the law.

He simply used the fact a different club used the exact same legal framework and everything certainly wasn't kosher.

So you used the same thing he said to validate your opinion, and he used the same criteria to invalidate it.

No matter what you say, just because Everton work inside the legal framework that every other business does isn't definite proof that Everton operate soundly.

Wrong petal

As the inference that I was referring to relates to the nonsense unsubstantiated continually referenced, but never openly accused............removal of cash via some back door exit, that is both baseless & bollocks (IMO)

His reference to Rangers avoiding taxation in order to gain a competitive advantage is a horse **** comparable

The fact is plenty of businesses do dodgy accounting things and it only comes out years later if at all.

"Innocent until proven guilty" is a far more powerful argument then "if they were doing something dogy they'd have been caught"

Spot on. Can't word it better than that; that's basically what I was saying.

"You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Artetafan again." FFS
