Best 5, Worst 5

EXACTLY!! Therefore a bad buy - > Bad player.

Different situation though. We as fans cant possibly comment on players we havent seen. The likes of Ferrari for instance wasnt let go because he was a bad player he was let go because his attitude stunk and Moyes doesnt accept that.

still  at HaleWoodBlue standing by jags being in moyes 5 worst buys. Not one person in agreement with him.
So guys all the following were better buys than both jags and neville in HaleWoodBlue's opinion

Wright
Da Silva
VDM
Davies
Kroldrup

And i think the previous post is right he just does it for attention and to wind people up, however stange cause sometimes he makes valid points

Shouldnt have bought them then should he?

Thats the point though is,nt it thats why its called bad buys, so now you are changeing the question to the ones the fans saw play. Like others have said they were not playing cause they were not good enough period. And like i said earlier if jags was such a bad buy why did he force his way in the england squad mate. Reakky cant take your opinion seriously when all the people you named in your opinion were better buys than jags. Also if you never saw them play how can you say they were better buys than jags.

All hands up who agrees with HaleWoodBlue:lol:

Already answered the 1st part to dom.
Are you saying every single player who has played for England deserved it?
Exactly my point on your last sentance mate, how can i or you comment on a player you never saw?

Moyes says that about Neville as well and look how awful he is. As long as he is back up (and desperate back up) then thats fine but people want him in the starting line up which for me is unacceptable

Has Moyes ever said Neville was our best player for a certain period in the season? I don't think he has, if he has please find some quotes.

Moyes said Jagielka was our best player for the second part of the season more or less, that's big praise and he's spot on. Jagielka was very consistent and barely had a bad game.

Moyes has called Neville unsung and told people to lay off him (when he was getting stick) but thats about it.

I am pretty sure he has and invaluable.

Jag wasnt our most consistent player in that period, that honour went again to the player of the season so Moyes was wrong

But HaleWoodBlue surely a player who plays (jags) and plays well in the opnion off everyone accept you including davis moyes and england manager contributes more to a team than someone who does,nt (VDM, Da silva, krouldrup). So do you still stand by jags being a worse buy than VDM, krouldrup, da silva. Please dont embarress yourself any futher mate and admit your wrong on this one

VDM has been injured alot since signed. Does that count in your book as a bad signing? Sounds unlucky to me, yes he has also contributed to his own downfall but thats largely down to him being injured and the situation with his kid. There is no doubting he has skill though.
Kroldrup, we will never know. Seems a very strange situation to me and only Moyes could answer why he spent 5m on him and not play him. He is quite clearly not a bad player as he has played in Italy for a number of years and made countless international appearences
Da Silva is similar to Kroldrup, how do we chase a player for a number of seasons, ship him off to Spain to get a visa/euro passport, bring him here then dont play him.
AGAIN i will say it my picks are based on players who have been given a fair crack of the whip but havent cut the mustard

Oh come on mate davies waqs given a fair crack of the whip and made no where near the same inpact as jags do you still rate him as a better signing than jags

Davies was made a scapegoat in a team that struggled and he wasnt given a fair run of games to prove himself.
