Form Table

Nice...

So obvious and cliché, but this is where you really need to find form. Sunderland currently bottom? Just look at the difference between Wolves and Villa. I'd love to see Wolves stay up after their poor start

Definitely...those easy games of which you think are certain wins, suddenly become that lil bit trickier. Can't believe how Villa have been sucked into it

3rd in the form guide as I type. Not bad when you think how much of the first team is injured etc at the moment, seemingly Everton always do better when we have our backs against the wall than when we have a full compliment of players. Wouldn't it be great if the new boys could really push on now! Some of the lads out on loan showing some great form as well.

We remain 12th with 7 points from our last 6 games. Liverpool have the same number of points and Chelsea are below us with only 4 points.

West Brom have picked up 5 more points than us. Spurs, Arsenal and Swansea have 2 more points. So, although it might feel like we're slipping down the table, we're not really losing too much ground on our rivals. Another interesting thing is that WBA, Tottenham and the Swans have each lost 3 of their last 6 away games.

Our current form is very poor, we have played easy opposition too.

Hopefully this will be our dip for the season and we'll improve soon, last nights result was an acceptable result.

We need to surprise City or Spurs though, difficult task.

Surprise Spurs? I don't think a home win in that game is setting the bar outlandishly high.

I think a big positive to take from our current poor form is that we are still getting points on the table. Things would look a lot worse if we had lost the majority of the games we have fallen behind in, which we would have at this point in the last few seasons.

Credit we're credit's due: we're very difficult to beat. I dont see us losing more than 6 or 7 this season, if that. The issue is whether we have enough quality throughout the squad to convert draws into wins. I dont think we have. Unless Moyes starts giving the likes of Barkley a real run or he can add and not lose good players in January we'll finish no higher than 6th...and that'll be a struggle.
