toure is box to box and came from barca to city and javi martinez is also box to box and a creative player aswell. same as alonso he went for 30m but look how much he offers a team he can dictate play from midfield
when fellaini plays Dm he is more of a makalele player you dont pay big money for those sort of DMs

Not sure where to start with that mate. The fact alone that Fellaini has scored 6 in 10 and regularly has more touches than any of our other players shows that you're wrong. He's an incredibly versatile player that can be deployed in an advanced position or in front of the back foor. In no way is he a makalele-type player.

fellaini is EITHER a DM or plays behind the striker he isnt box to box.
a box to box type player is someone like yaya toure who can startt fro defending a corner and then have the pace and acceleration to get forward and start and finish attacks, this is not in fellainis game

fellaini plays as either one or the other.

and on that note if yaya toure is worth 24m how the **** is fellaini worth 30m

Chelsea paid £16.8m for Makelele in 2003. Arguably and in my book the best defensive midfielder of the last 10 years. Pretty much ten years on, and inflation in football means £25m for a DM wouldn't be unrealistic, especially as its the only position they are lacking in. John Obi Mikel is the weak link in their team.

if fellaini went to chelsea it would to play as a DM, and if your after a defensive midfielder for 30m you can have the pick of any in the world, box to box or a creative midfielder like arteta was. for the type of DM fellaini is you wouldnt pay out 30m thats all im saying
