Just looking at his wiki page I saw he missed 2 seasons with a broken leg.

He never came back the same player or played for England again. I wonder if Maradona would have scored his wonder goal in '86 if Bracewell wasn't at home with his leg in plaster.

Anyway... 2 years out with a broken leg?? What's that all about? Poor guy.

Was my fave player in that team; not sure why, as he wasnt one of the "stars", just thought he was really under rated outside Eberton.

He played with the injury for months bacause the medical staff couldnt find the problem. He then had setbacks along the way and was never quite the same player afterwards. Shame as he was on the verge of an England place before that injury...sod you Billy Whitehurst

Possibly the wrongest comparison of a player I've ever seen. Osman is not fit to eat Bracewell's ****e mate. The loss of Bracewell to a yard dog's tackle was a major turning point to our eventual decline.
