yeah I agree. Think we need to be signing Fernandes and maybe one more central midfielder. And then that's it. Job done.

Lennon would be a useful addition, for the right price. I just get the impression that if we're in for him with a couple of the other 'usual suspects' (Villa & Newcastle (probably, they just wait for us to go after someone and then go after them, Newcastle, not Villa))) then the price might get pumped up a wee bit and he wouldn't represent much value.

Ok, I said that's it. But perhaps Milner would be a better choice than Lennon. Not as expensive, harder working - and something about Lennon and those tramlines he wears, says to me - look who I am? But then he hasn't really justified his inflated ego.

So with that I doubt Moyes would go for him.

Yeah, since he hit the dizzy heights his value has rocketed. I was gutted when we signed Simon Davies from Spurs and they brought Lennon to replace him - we should have gone straight for him and got him for next to nothing.

Well I get the impression Moyes is doing that now. Picking up young talent.

agree totally, i have said it on here a bit, i'm a big fan of Milner, he would be a much better purchase than Lennon. I think ghost has it right, russians are the pits:P, seroiulsly though, i think he has it right fernandes in, as well as another cental mid would be enough if were skint, preferably Johnson form city, oh and milner too:D

Has Lennon ever realised his potential? He seems to flatter to deceive once too often. You kind of like what you see but theres something lacking in his game - an end result. Nevertheless his pace unsettles opposition and gives another edge to his team. Wouldn't mind seeing him come in, especially if Moyes had a vision and method for completing his game.

Milner would apper to fit the bill. He seems to have more of an all round game, more of a team player and can stop and hold the ball in the middle more effectively than Lennon. However I still feel he'd be something of a makeweight for us - we need and deserve someone in there with a bit more class.
