Gibson's injury

He was missed when he went off. But think the fact that Moyes replaced him with Hibbert really didn't help matters, totally wrong substitution IMO.

Yeah he got the sub wrong, would have just kept Neville at right back, brought fellaini back and brought coleman on and throw naysmith behind Jelevic.

I'd quite like a settled midfield pairing to be honest. I suppose my first choice would be Fellaini and Gibson. I think we have all seen the good, the bad, and the ugly side of Fellaini playing up top and personally I feel he's a more consistent performer in central midfield - with a licence to get forward (which Gibson would provide).

Hopefully we can sign the Belgian lad and he can cover for either Felli or Gibson.

To be fair to Fellaini him playing up front wasn't really the problem. If he'd have scored the sitter he missed we would've gone a goal ahead and from there probably shut up shop. It was unlike him to miss it. After they got their goal we went all out and got sloppy at the back. Not a disaster but disappointing. Not exactly time to dispense with what's worked for us. Especially as we didn't exactly get battered.

As Moyes said if he hadn't have tried to win it we could've easily got a draw.

Let's stick with Fellaini up front. He provided headaches for Villa and Utd. He will for most teams in the league. West Brom are going to cause some upsets this year.

naismith looks very good to me, he will be important player for us in the future and already is.

All the best headed chances fell to Jelavic and all the best shooting chances to Fellaini. It's just our luck really but WBA will surprise a few more teams this season (the bastards).
If you look at when Gibson got injured, he stopped and let the ball past him and then Nev passed the ball back and he pulled up trying to kick it. Let's hope it's not too serious and as far as I'm concerned Darron Gibson is still undefeated in an Everton shirt.

Given that we were 0-0 when he went off, Gibson hasn't finished on the losing side in 28 consecutive games for United and Everton. Only 10 more matches and he's an Invincible!

If I am Gibbo, I will tell Trapattoni to [Poor language removed] off. I won't play for Ireland as long as the clueless Italian is in charge.

To be fair to Moyes he said as much in the post match interview. Said Hibbet was still injured and should have brought Coleman on
