Rooney - where would he fit in?

As much as I love Fellaini, I'd drive him to Old Trafford if they wanted a swap with Rooney.

Laughable rumour, mind.

Did we sell rodwell for £60m ? Because how are we going to afford him or even his £1m approx wages a month , that's £12m a year when as has been said its near enough four times the wages of our highest paid player . The whole thing is frankly at best fanciful and I can't believe people thinking about it seriously can see anyway it would work or even be discussed.

If he left United then he'd be off to La Liga or Seria A. Only time he'd come back to us is to do a Gazza and finish his career with us.

Jesus, I didn't suggest it would happen so don't bite my head off thanks. I just suggested IF it happened where would you play him.

If he did come back the only place I would play him is where Fellaini is now. However with the form Felli is in at the moment then I would quite happily have Rooney keeping the bench warm.

Don't get me wrong, Rooney would be a fantastic asset to any team, but he has nowhere near reached to potential that he had when he was 16 and burst on to the scene with us.

Where would Messi fit in if we signed him??? Not saying we are signing him or anything, but you never know, we might get him on loan with a view to buy. Maybe a swap for Hibbo or Phil Nev? Not saying we are going to, just IF.
I say he would be a fantastic in nets? Not saying we would play him in net, just saying IF we signed him on loan, we MAYBE could play him in goals? Thats only IF we signed him, and im NOT saying we are or anyting, just MAYBE.
Ive read on Twitter he likes cheese and might be looking a move to a club who sell cheese somewhere near the ground. Not saying IF he likes cheese either.
