AC Milan DiavoloNews â€￾@MilanDiavolo
M'Baye Niang's Italian agent was also at Via Turati earlier today. Anyways when he was leaving he said that he wasn't negotiating for Niang.

Then, after having posted the above, the same source posted;

"AC Milan DiavoloNews â€￾@MilanDiavolo
M'Baye Niang could become a Milan player today, according to Sky Italia."

So looks like the agent lied. Shame if he is going to Milan. I was hoping we'd sign him. :(

Great point.

I can't think of someone we have bought while they were this young and sold on for a "huge" profit after x amount of years.

Don't tempt fate, man. We signed Fellaini at a young age...

He's a potential wonderkid on FM2012, probably where Moyes scouted him. His transfer value is 2.2m on there but his club won't even accept 7m for him. In other news, I bought Mirallas for 7m and he's ace upfront with Jelavic, scored 2 in 3 while Jelavic has 4 in 3.... so, good news overall.

I know you're saying this in jest but it still made me cringe.

Oh, and is Abdullayev even our player still?

If he's not going to sign for us I hope he gets it sorted quickly so he can stop teasing us?

I can't understand why we would have him for such a long trial at this stage of the transfer window if we weren't the closest to signing him. I know transfers are complex though.

Yeah wrong Silva my bad.

The truth is as a strategy it sounds good but it's low risk, low reward. See Silva, Jutkiewicz, Gosling, Peterlin, Mustafi and Vidarsson as players we snatched up early for low fees but then didn't make any money off when we got rid.

As for the others, Coleman and Vellios might well make it but Gueye probably won't. We haven't seen anything of Abdullayev, McLaughlin, Garbutt or Green yet. And of the kids about to break through, Junior and Duffy are the only ones we stole off another club.

Don't get me wrong I would love for us to buy Nianag but there's a reason why he'll cost so much and that's because there's not many players his age with the talent that you'll know they'll succed. Mostly it's a gamble. Even Arsenal snatch up hundreds of these lids so that one or two a year will make it.

Firstly, Gueye has got a great chance of making it, Moyes wasn't playing him becuase he had to last season.

Secondly, Abdullayev isnt an Everton plyaer,, we had first option, but he oculdnt get a work permit..

First, yeah he was. Moyes was playing him entirely because he had to, so short were we on wide men. Gueye's not a bad player but he's just too slow for this league.

Second, I'm pretty sure we own Abdullayev's contract and he's just out on loan until he plays enough international games to merit a work permit.
