An Englishman, a Scotsman and an Irishman took turns at managing Liverpool FC in the hope they could return the club to the past that the fans lived in. The Englishman was hated by the fans so was sacked. The Scotsman was loved by the fans but was sacked. The Irishman's first game led to a 3-0 defeat to the team the Englishman resurrected before becoming the England manager.
