True but you forget we start the season with a striker and that guy we bought back for an extra million combined with said striker turned our season around and had us playing the best football we have in years.. Plus we have Naismith so yes you are correct, we got rid of some dross and only strengthened a couple of posiitons but we are far and away better than we were or would you prefer last years squad?
Also we have both time and money to buy more players to improve us this year.

Compare our first team now to what we had 12 months ago. We have got rid of a lot of deadwood from the squad and we have money to spend to improve the 1st 11 further.
