I have an awful feeling with Arsenal selling VP to UNT it may be a double whammy of us facing VP on Monday & Mirallas chosing Arsenal for bigger wages etc he has stated he has not decided & Arsenal are the other club, & he will leave it to his agent - I feel he would have been here by now.
Is it too much to ask that we sign a player that WANTS to play for Everton? This kind of weighing up of options, playing clubs off against each other, bartering for the highest pay day that we appear to be seeing with Mirallas really gets me down.
I'm with Steve here. Make him a decent offer and if him or his agent doesn't fancy us then [Poor language removed] them.
Move on and find a player that would relish the opportunity.
I've been watching this so long now my boss is threatening to sack me, I wouldn't mind but I work for myself!
That's fair enough but isn't that what they're all about these days. If you don't like it then don't bother with football! It's like pieenar going to spurs cause god told him to but when he can't get in the team he comes back and everyone treats him like a hero. If he was **** everyone would hate him! Why would this Belgian lad give a **** about efc? I doubt he knows much about us. He wants to earn as much as he can. That's how it goes. Shame but true isn't it. Doesn't mean he won't try his best once he gets here, or even grow a love for the club, but before he arrives I'd expect nothing less.
By the sounds of things, Niang is impressing also.
By the sounds of things, Niang is impressing also. So, double signing show off at Half Time against United on Monday? Would get the fans buzzing like.
