He got the better of phil Lynott for most of the first half
That will do.He's a brilliant player. Would be helped so much more by a decent full back behind him that can cross the half way line.
Having said that, I do think he's a level below what you'd want at one of the top clubs competing for the title. He's at a similar level to someone like Pienaar was for us.
I disagree. Dibling has been here since the summer. If we rotated properly from the summer then we would have a squad ready to give players a break.I 100% agree with you about him needing a rest but who would you replace him with?
Its not about moyes managing the squad theres just no one to replace him with

I personally think that would be desperately searching for excuses to mask his terrible downturn in form over the past four months: he's been awful.I personally think it is just lack of energy. There may also be an element of deflation after Senegal having the Afcon tiltle stripped from them. I know other Senegalese players haven’t been affected, but people are different and react differently. Still think his play would go up another level if he had a pact fullback to interact with.

We can't blame it on Grealish being injured or Mykolenko being crap, although they are obviously mitigating factors. He's been far too greedy with the ball at his feet the past month, and his workrate has dropped off.
At least we don't need to worry about losing him this summer, and can hopefully work to build the team around him next season to get the best out of him.
I read your initial response and thought ‘Ellesmere I workrate’ was yet another modern term I do not understand. Thank you for clarifyinghIs workrate***

The 2 go hand in handHe is so good to watch, but he is missing some big big chances for us.
He looks shattered too.
