2025/26 David Moyes

I don’t think it’s accepting mediocrity, just some that people can accept the reality of the position the clubs been in and is still slowly coming out of it.

We’ve been ran like a joke for 3 decades and some people understand that, majority don’t. It’s going to take a lot more than 3 transfer windows to change that squad. It’s also going to take a lot to change the winning mentality at the club, not just the club, with a section of fans too. Our fans expect an overnight success cos we was once a successful club.

With the new owners, hopefully they put that in place, can’t see it though.

superb

Ok but
Leeds away
Arsenal home
West Ham away
City home

4 absolutely shocking decisions, 3 of which the league have admitted they got wrong.

Can’t argue we’ve been dry bummed by the corrupt PL on those occasions which has cost us points.
Every team gets shafted except City, Chelsea Arsenal, the rs and Man Utd.

God this is boring, people aren't complaining about him spending £100 million, they're complaining that he spent most of it on players he doesn't play!
Yep, either he made the final decision on buying them, which shows poor judgment or the recruitment team did and Moyes doesn’t like who they bought so he and the recruitment team don’t work well together. One or the other. Aside from KDH and to a lesser extent Grealish, whichever way the transfer decisions were made way it’s not good.

No club should allow the manager decision making on players as managers come and go, it should be via consensus. Managers come and go…That way when one manager does leave, the next manager comes in with a style suited to the squad profile. I suspect the recruitment team’s profile of player is different from Moyes’.

Said it earlier. Need more money spent to challenge for trophies. Glasner has a better squad than us.
Our best chance of winning a trophy in the next couple of years in the conference league… unless we start spending in line with to top 7, increasing wage bill by 90% - we are going to struggle to do that. Moyes is good bet to buck that trend
Why would you leave him in charge of transfers he didn't exactly spend £500 million wisely for West Ham?

Utter nonsense, what people want to see is progress, some young players coming through, signs of a coherent playing style. That's a fair yardstick to judge any manager of any club by.

Doing as well or better than 75% fans predicted.

This is what midtable form looks like… you have to drop points to finish midtable.

On every basis this hasn’t been a bad season considering the previous 10, the amount we spend and the injuries to arguably our best two players (Grealish and brnthwaite).

Bedwetters everywhere, amongst people that would have accepted this finish in August.
