He only scored on Monday to please his Arsenal buddies.Take away the thoughts on his ability or non ability
Does he play for the team or himself ?
Not really. He's scored two goals that will decide the title race. Our fans might not hold him in particularly high regard but it's a brace that will be remembered for a long time in the PL.from the Guardian:
"Before Monday night, Thierno Barry had scored six league goals in 34 games, just a nice man trying hard to do something he finds extremely difficult. At which point he rattled off two in 13 minutes against perma-champs to thrust himself into the front of the season-ending montages, hammer of destiny and all round title-killer."
Hyperbole anyone?

We don't even know if the draw will be enough to stop city winning the league yet. Arsenal could easily draw with west ham or slip up elsewhere. Not really. Interesting thought. I see some players as a bit like Boycott. Outwardly, they appear selfish, but in their minds their single mindedness is for the benefit of the team.Take away the thoughts on his ability or non ability

From not being near scoring to scoring regularly isnt promising to you?Based on how Barry's progressed so far you'd say the signs are promising?
And you're telling me not to be silly...
Scoring 2 tap ins in one game after not scoring for 2 months isn't scoring regularly. From not being near scoring to scoring regularly isnt promising to you
I sometimes think when he ambles about a bit , he isn't actually sure how or what to pressMe too Neil.
At a time where half decent strikers are at a premium, I believe I’ve saw enough from him to believe there’s a player in there worth sticking by.
Sadly the post-arsenal incident has fractured his relationship with a large section of the fan base who aren’t known to forgive and forget, and he will continue to have his critics no matter how well he performs.
I was a right full back in GAA football. The cardinal rule was first ball in, don't worry about the ball, just make sure the left full forward is counting his insides after the first tackle. He's in your pocket right after thatI agree with you though mate. When I was a young number 9 I would get the sh** kicked out of me week in week out. Took me a while to realise that I was playing up against the two hardest b*******s on the oppo and that if I gave as good as I got, they'd soon think twice about dishing it out in fear of retribution or, just as importantly, would start to worry about where I was and would maybe miss other things going on around them.
A bit of snide and physicality makes a huge difference
Two or three goals, he scored two so he's happy....on the flipping beachHas he not been working on this all season![]()
Clinical finishes though. He seems more clinical than Beto, actually. Maybe more development will see him come good after all.Glad he scored but bloody hell he was given an almighty helping hand in both goals. A goals a goal though no matter how it comes your way.
