Did well with both of his goals and hopefully that is the start of redemption for him, anyone blaming him for tonight and not the two 'experienced pro' center backs needs to get a grip.

Happy for the lad, he did well, and i have to question anyone saying otherwise.

Two honestly fortuitous goals, but he bothered to get himself into right place to capitalise. Often he’s on his heels, so fair play to him. First one was a very subtle finish when the noise erupted after the shoddy back pass. Hope it does give him a lift for the final games.

He’s there to score and he got two. Fair play. But a lot of what he did tonight was also abysmal, careless and clumsy as always. Goals or not, and credit to him for scoring tonight, he hasn’t got the coordination and deft touch for a league this fast and aggressive.

We just can’t keep buying these big clumsy erratic strikers that knock in maybe 10 goals but it looks such hard work and random. We’ve got to find a better footballer surely.

But again, got himself in the right spots and put it in the net tonight. Real shame he wasn’t the match winner.

He isn’t without fault, he could have closed down better in the final minutes but I’d pick him over Beto for the next one.

Let’s just get behind him and the others and see where we land.
