You’re right in what you’re saying in your post, but that’s a result of years of mismanagement, anyone with any real knowledge of football knows that teams don’t go from years if relegation fights to Europe overnight, it simply doesn’t happen.

No argument here. We’re playing the team today whose takeover slender Moyes era of having us comfortably the 5th best team in the country, some may use that as a way to have a dig at Moyes, without realising he did that under Kenwright, the most sell to buy chairman the league has seen.

They’ve continued to spend and have faced no punishment, although I’m now glad as without it Liverpool would’ve won more leagues in the last decade than they have.
