Make it make sense please. 😄 Absolutely spoiled with talent.

Everton have Ndiaye, Barry, Beto and Dewsbury-Hall.

Make it make sense - okay:

Maddison and Kulu haven’t kicked a ball this season - the board thought the tiny Xavi could replace them by himself. Kudus hasn’t kicked a ball since the first week of Jan.

Muani is kin awful.
Solanke - missed 2/3rds of the season with injury.
Odobert picked up a serious knee injury a couple of months back
Tel has just turned 20 and still adapting
Richy - we’ve spent most the season not crossing the ball - stupidly.

Ndiaye would easily get into our current side. Dewsbury Hall would most likely start for us as well when all fit. The other 2 probably not.

We’re in this mess because we keep signing players who either can’t do it in this league or can’t stay fit.

…..regardless of the team Villa selected, Spurs were very good especially from an attitude perspective. I think most teams would’ve struggled against them last night.

I thought we set the tempo last night and the fast start meant we tested if Villa were truly up for it early on - which they weren’t.

RDZ has breathed life into these lot and is blowing a lot of smoke up them - which seems to be working.

Leeds at home next Monday night, if West Ham don’t beat Arsenal on the Sunday then Leeds are mathematically safe. The players will be heading into it with belief and confidence and the fans will be raucous. Hopefully we more or less end this nightmare on Monday.

….for once Spurs played like it mattered, if they replicate that attitude for their remaining games then they’ll be very difficult to beat. Looked immediately at their price to beat Leeds and it’s a general 4/5 but I can see that shortening as the game approaches.

Lots of impressive performances, particularly in CM but I particularly enjoyed watching Kolo Muani, proper handful.

It’s more or less the only game he has turned up in this season - I don’t think we will be stumping up for him

We went unbeaten after I stopped posting to be fair
You could have not had a better 2 teams really the last 2. A relegated Wolves, who you just about beat, and a Villa team that basically never turned up the whole game, Which was a deserved Spurs win. Saying that no matter how weak the teams are, you still have to beat them and if it was Everton we probably would not pr make very hard work of it

Yeah the fixtures have seemingly fell kindly for us. If West Ham lose to Arsenal on Sunday then Leeds are mathematically safe before we play them on the Monday.

The Chelsea game is 3 days after their FA cup final as well. We’ve had rotten luck this season with injuries, but how these last few fixtures are falling may just compensate.

lol at spurs now being touted in here as a good side.

2 wins in 2026 and 4th from bottom.

🤣

Who is touting us as a good side - we’ve won 2 home games all season and one of those was the very first game of the season.

Bizarrely we have the 3rd best away form in the league.

We’ve been pony 2 and a half seasons now and if we stay up then this summer we either sort this 💩 out or we do what Villa/Newcastle did where you circle the drain for so long that you eventually drop.

Some idiot on Sky just said he didn’t understand why people are moaning about the Villa performance last night as they had a World Cup winner in goal 🤔

Sorry but that Villa performance was one of the most disrespectful, couldn't care less, didn't want to be out there attitudes I've seen in a long long time..

Spurs looked like they had bit more heart in them, but Villa gave them that.
