Summer transfer window.

Wharton is the ideal profile, age, ability and upside potential that we should be after.

The only thing would be what other clubs come in for him, unless due to there being 8+ in demand this summer, he misses the cut.

I'm not sure who the equivalent CF would be so for me i'd prioritise Wharton. We need to build the team before a superstar CF could be attracted.

Same goes for us, theres a few of them available so hopefully we push the boat out, I'd prefer one of Wharton, Scott or Gray.
Wharton is not coming anywhere near us.

We've had a full year of being completely aware of our numerous problem areas. In fact, the manager has openly admitted the club has been looking for a right back for several years.

The club has had no fear of relegation all season and so the "let's wait until we know we're safe" excuse doesn't hold water this time for not acting early.

Still, we all know we'll ponder and dally, miss out on targets to teams like Palace, Bournemouth and Forest, then overpay for garbage near the end of the window.

I’m not in love with either of them, but Wilson will have better options than us and end up at a team like Villa. Soucek is five years younger than Gueye, and basically the same age as an extremely expensive Jack Grealish. At the right price (very cheap), I think he’d do well under Moyes at Everton.

Not exactly the players to kick us on though.

Whoever found Rayan for Bournemouth, that’s who we need working in our recruitment team.

Not just someone who looks for cast off fringe players from Sky 6 clubs.

The athletic actually said around our gams with them that we had previously been interested in Rayan.

Simon Francis. And his contract is up in the summer and he's about to leave Bournemouth
