2025/26 David Moyes

….improvement from the basic state he arrived with is called progression. I’d imagine his record in his 2nd spell favourably compares with others despite arriving with us in a mess. Progression ;)

Not sure who a ‘progressive’ alternative is, certainly be a major risk taking somebody else at this point.
If Carrick isn't appointed at united, I would give for Carrick.

Matches Managed: 697
Wins: 269
Draws: 182
Defeats: 246
Goals Scored: 942
Goals Conceded: 914
Win Percentage: 38.6%
Points Per Match (PPM): 1.42
Think those figures are a little out of date with today being his 750th EPL game, not that it makes much difference over all. Even if you include his spell in La Liga it still comes out pretty much the same.

What fair chances have Dibling and Aznou had?

Fact is both have been given the same treatment but Dibling he's thrown in and dropped because he couldnt not use him due to the fee.

Armstrong is enioying the same treatment now.

Our youngest 3 in the squad.

in terms of McNeil, hes had good games and hes had shocking games...makes no difference to Moyes.

On merit you drop him and Barry and instead use a different 2 players.

i'd go with our 2 England internationals.

He'll pick the 11 he wrote down at the start of the season and put Barry in for Beto.
I will agree that it matters less if McNeil has a bad game than it does the younger kids, but McNeil has had good games. Dibling has not shown once what he is capable of.

McNeil offers more chance of a better game. Look I want Dibling to be the answer, but Moyes sees him everyday in training and doesn’t think he’s doing enough. He has tried to give George minutes.

I’m not arguing that Moyes plays it safe, but I’m not sure I share the view that two kids, and more so Dibling are the answer to this game.
