2025/26 David Moyes

Imagine wanting 3 more years of that 'kin coward to hand Liverpool another 6 wins?

His derby record is indefensible, but there's a good few on here who'll defend it by saying they spend more so we obviously have no chance in any game.

Joe Royle wound those rich gets up and sent Everton on the pitch to slaughter them on a good few occasions. He had a lot less money to spend than this utter 'kin throbber Moyes too.

He's a loser. He's a coward against Liverpool in particular. He's not fit to be manager of Everton Football Club.
His role as Manager will and should be looked at in the summer, he will be marked against the expectations from the owners, the use of the funds put into the club. It will ultimately come down to one question, has he achieved the goals that were set..

If the owners decide to move on than we move on.
If they decide to let him see out his contract, then he see's out his contract.
If they offer him a new contract, than he gets a new contract. ( Which too many people on here still don't realise is just a bloody piece of paper that can be ripped apart whenever they want to )

Whichever decision is made in the Summer will down to the owners. NOT YOU !

Everyone here should just want what's best for the club, not what's best for them..
Sadly that will never happen though, to many self obsessive personalities..

It was a sad and painful day, but your mouth just takes it to another level..

All of things we'e highlighting (terrible game management, not giving young players mins, scared to lose attitude) is exactly why he lasted less than a year at Man Utd.

His record against RS/bigger clubs is disgraceful for a manager that's been managing at the top level for as long as he has.

But you will (usually) get a solid mid table finish.

That's the trade off.

Is there a manager out there who's predominantly managed mid table clubs and had a great record against the better teams though? Surely that's why the likes of us are mid table because these games are difficult to win.

McNeil was ousted in the first half of the season though and has worked his way back in. It's clear from the comments and the lack of game time that Dibling isn't doing enough in training.

Im as frustrated as you because we need him to be the player we thought we were signing, but I don't think he's being kept out because Moyes has a grudge. He just hasn't been good enough.
I think Moyes is set in his ways when it comes to judgement on players hence why he loves playing O'Brien at right back when we all know he's not great there. McNeil wasn't ousted as we had a fit Grealish for the first half of the season. The fact we spent 40 million on Dibling and brought in George on loan and he still prefers McNeil despite us trying to sell McNeil is alarming judgement in my opinion

Dos my fruit in mate, biggest issue I have with him, even with the decent job he’s done since coming back.
Agree completely. I find him so frustrating as in so many ways he's competent and I love the team spirit he fosters within in his inner circle. Its his archaic judgement on players and his inferiority complex that stop him from being the right manager to take us forward. His opinion on Aznou not having the physicality to play full back is a complete head scratcher to me as full backs are more required to have other attributes than strength

Yeah, that isn't good. In an ideal world Dibling should be starting over both of those players or at least be getting game time. The fact he isn't is a massive concern considering the amount we spent on him.

Fair point.
I'm not saying a great record tho.
For a manager who's been managing at top level for as long as he has it's really bad.
Someone put stat up before that he's won 3 games out of 38 v RS.
That must be the worst out of managers with similar amounts of games managing mid table teams - Allardyce, Hodgson etc.

Be kind. He's got 4 if you include the FA Cup.

In all seriousness though, I wouldn't be surprised if most managers end up with stats like that. Don't forget that Moyes left for 12 years and we ended up with 2 wins in that time so by that metric he was actually better at derbies than what came after.

We were the better team. We lost.it feels like a usual story.
Looking at the bench I’m not seeing what I would have done differently. George wasn’t good enough today but you could see Moyes was trying to be positive.
He’s done well, bad day in the office today

The bigger concern to me is how Moyes is destroying their confidence with never giving them opportunities or taking them off at the first opportunity and telling the media they aren't doing enough. And then you see the likes of McNeil given a totally different treatment for being not a lot better. We have a squad of players not being utilised properly because of his preferential treatment of his favourites
