2025/26 David Moyes

Well someone at Villa made a bold decision to " go for it" at some point. Not sure now is the right or wrong time for us but we shouldnt allow ourselves to believe " it cant be done" because it can...

Well let's hope there's money to spend this summer and it's spent well.

What utter bollocks...We wanted to win that from the off.

It's not his fault Beto went off injured and the entire match changed because Barry is pants and George did nothing.

Iroegbunam coming in for Gana doesn't win us the match or stop us conceding a header from VVD off of a corner....

Pure nonsense
Midfield was absolutely getting overran towards the end of the second half and he did nothing, that's what i call 'pure nonsense' he's just bottled it vs the worst Liverpool side since Hodgson and ya defending him hahaha

I really like your post. I think it’s very fair and a reasonable measuring stick. But it’s a mixed bag of results so far. Sitting at 10th and improved. But also not developing players. Not taking risks or being creative. It’s why the fan base feels sort of meh. It’s because we know we’re better than our record and aren’t as limited as we show given the manager and his own traits. That’s why I’m in support of keeping him and being fair by giving a summer window to him free and clear of PSR.
By maybe 2-4 points, it's not by some huge margin. The league's close enough for 2-4 points to mean something on paper but this isn't a side that could trouble Europe.

We've got money to spend, this isn't Kenwrights Everton no more.

Villa where a absolute state under Gerrard, let's stop with this revisionism that they where already world beaters, Emery come in and took them to levels they could only dream of.
We got Carlo by paying real money

World class managers will come if you pay them…

Again what do TFG want? A new ground to host events or a winning team?

We’ll soon know

But tell you what if they do nothing in summer but demand prices go up! Will speak volumes about their ‘ambition’

We’ve spent a fortune, mate, and probably will again in the summer. So how long do you want Moyes to stay? Last thing we want is a squad only suited to Moyes, could end badly that when we do move on

Problem is we're 12th in the league for wage budget which helps to explain why we are where we are. I would have no qualms getting rid of Moyes if this was a top 6 team under performing.

We aren't that though so you're left with a decision to make. Do you stick with the manager who's brought you progress or role the dice on someone else. If that person is a proven world class manager then it's worth considering. If it's a Thomas Frank like Spurs got in during the summer then maybe not so much.

I think we shouldn't confuse one thing and the other. Am I frustrated with him not bringing a midfielder on, to give some more energy? Yes.

Is he to blame for George and Barry both looking diabolical when they came on? No. The first didn't help, but the second held far more weight.

Nevertheless, his conservatism is his glass ceiling; his rigidity helps us in many ways, but it's what holds us back in games like today.

I cant stand this feller's losing grid telling we were unlucky again in one of his derby day surrenders.

Just GTF out of Everton you cowardly scumbag.
Any manager who has lost a game like that is inevitably going to speak along those lines. Probably worth giving it a miss if it's going to rile you up.
