Well, we had some usual stalwarts having a poor game, more or less gave them a goal with the penalty, and had bad luck with deflections at opposite ends of the pitch. Despite all that, we still got a draw away at a decent side. Reasonable day, all things considered.

Great result, I’d of settled for a point before the game. Beat Liverpool and we are right in the mix.

We needed 4pts from this and the RS to really aim for the top 6.

In all seriousness, the point was to do with years of lacking real quality or depth on the bench, and managers who were reluctant to make changes.

And when they did make changes, they were the predictable ones - same with little impact. Today was more an exception, than the rule.
