Tottenham Hotspur

Didn't we go 112 days under dyche? And some on here argue how good a job he did.

Spurs will likely pick up now, as they've got a long term manager in, so players can't just down tools without fear of consequence.

If they do go down, where's the consequence? They'll just be put, or put themselves on the market and many will likely end up at EPL clubs with a payrise anyway.

Even if they don't get sold, do they even have relegation clauses? They'll be sat on a big wage in a division below - they can stick that out for a season if need be and act the hero when they come back off or push off as need be. Spurs will probably have to get rid of some from the payroll to match the drop in income and maybe take a haircut of some of the asking price in a few cases to get shut. But the players left should be more than capable down there except in the whole fighting spirit required to get you out of the Championship - for that they are screwed.

Sadly just don’t see West Ham escaping even if they do win tonight.

They looked so mediocre against Leeds last week. No real leadership, team of badly put together individuals, a bit like Spurs obviously but with less quality.

They have some quality individuals though who may rise to the occasion — namely Summerville and Bowen. Hopefully that will get them enough goals to win a few games anyway.

We're all West Ham fans until May!
