2025/26 Tyler Dibling

All those people calling for him to have been sent on loan….

the only place he could have gone is Southampton.

A player can only play official matches for 2 teams in a season. He played 7 minutes for Southampton and not many more for Everton so couldn’t play for anyone else.
I think its calendar year, not season year. I recall it being weird, like, in theory, we could have sent him anywhere in January but in September he could only have gone back to Southampton.

He’s had one run of 3 starts:

27/12 v Burnley (did okay)
30/12 v Forest (did well)
04/01 v Brentford (pulled at HT)

Never to be seen again as is the Moyes way.

Think he needs a proper run, starting in away games & coming on for 20 to 30 minutes in home games to see if Moyes can get his confidence up.

Sunderland FA Cup and was atrocious.

It is per season which according to FIFA runs from July 1st to June 30th.

In January he could only have gone back to Southampton.

Moyes doesn’t really do subs. But your stands. He’ll get a chance in preseason and then it’s up to him.
He makes plenty of subs if we have options, he’s publicly said Dibling is not doing enough, so he doesn’t deserve minutes. The fact McNeill was exiled and still managed to come back and start shows how bad the fringe are.

He got 25 minutes. I think he had 1 touch in about 15 minutes, then had a good shot outside the box but straight at keeper. Then he won the ball and passed it to Bellingham who won a pen. Then with the last kick of the game he nearly won it with a guided placed shot into the top corner but it lacked any pace ( it was a real difficult chance ).
