This is Pienaar's description of himself.....

He's not ours (yet) but am chuffed he has this on his page

I think caught offside is on the banned list on here, with good reason. It's wrote by a bunch of pre pubescent attention seeking bellends. This is the next generation of BBC Live Text lids. Rise up before it's too late.

^THT just re-tweeted a link to this blog. More than double the £3m Spurs paid for him?

Edit: actually it was David. Known in this parish as LCAB.

Funnily enough, an Evertonian on NSNO who works for Spurs or summat like that, who in December last year said all along we'd sign Pienaar back on loan in January even though he got doubted, said a permanent deal is in place for Pienaar and he did say it would be for a fee of £6m!.

Bit steep if you ask me for a 30, 31 year old that hasnt set things alight down south!. Regardless of him doing well at us, he couldnt get a look in at Spuds and wasnt fancied so why should we pay double or more to take him back?!. 3 to 4 mill should be about right IMO.

£6m is a ridiculous fee, that could pay for a player like Hoilett and a back up striker on loan for the season.

I like Pienaar, but not THAT much that i would totally ignore the age issue.

I think if Cahill sacked of International football he'd be as good as he was 3 or 4 years ago but he insists on playing in meaningless cup competitions for Oz

i cant really disagree with him with that though, representing your country should be the pinnacle for any sportsman/woman, he has pride for the oz that i like, look at the WI cricket players and the contrast is massive. You can change your team, but not your country of birth

Except in football international football isnt the pinnacle, its Champions League, and if we are playing millions in his wages each year for his form with us to suffer because he's jet-setting here there and everywhere playing in meaningless games against the Caymen Islands, then that isnt on
