Tarks , O'Brien, Tim and especially Garner have been excellent.

Dibling shows flashes of a player.

Rohl is lightweight and peripheral. McNeil one superb pass the rest of the time cack.

Mykolenko good defensively and that's it.

Patterson and Barry comically bad.

wish i'd not heard barry mentioned as ofter as i did (often to laughter)
away support been good considering where they are
not a lot on the bench to provide a bit of fresh zip and verve
not got the best feeling about this, but tbf we've not been hammered first half. they've had a lot of possession and worked into getting crosses in but JT and JOB have been pretty good and pickford solid on the few times he's been required to get involved.

…so far so good, maybe sat back a bit after the goal protecting the lead but got to be happy with that.

Key is that central defensive 4 playing well, Garner, Iroegbunam, O’Brien and Tarkowski. Terrific goal from Garner getting that strike off with the ball a little behind.

Main concern is the defensive right side, the winger has Patterson on toast and Dibling is a poor ball watcher (it is a very important part of a wingers game to track runners these days).

Feel like we need another goal here but decent so far.

It's so obvious that if we just signed a RB we'd be so much better. We have four decent CBs (I can't believe I'm including Keane but he's been solid this season). I actually think JOB playing at RB has helped his game as a centre half, he's looked very composed under pressure on the ball tonight.
