Just one of them unfortunately. They needed a penalty to beat us but we have created nothing and looked a bit clueless going forward.

We gifted them it.

They didn't need to turn up.

Sure we're missing a few but the lack of belief/aggression/conviction all over was telling.

Felt like we'd wrote it off before a ball was kicked and Arsenal just went through the motions knowing we weren't having a sniff.

But hey. We'll take the 1-0 defeat because we had a few missing.

I am just glad to have these 2 games out of the way tbh. Better run coming now although i do worry about us not having enough quality without Dewsbury, Ndiaye and Gana. We need the January transfer window.

There’s no shame in losing to one of the best teams in the league. There’s no shame in being a bit all at sea without your best attacking players. I just wish we’d have thrown caution to the wind a bit.

I can understand a cagey start but once it’s clear that Arsenal aren’t at the races either, we should have been a lot braver. Would rather have been done by 2 or 3 than this.
