It’s a difficult one because right now we can only surmise what their motive is and/or who their target was.

Yes, it’s easy to infer that it could be a deliberate attack on a Jewish celebration, and the cause of that could be Gaza, but we don’t know.

Also, it really muddies the already questionable stance that the atrocities of the Israeli state and the Jewish religion are one and the same.

They’re not. Criticising the actions of the Israeli state is fair and just; people correlating that with anti-Semitism is not fair and just.

I’m not saying you’re doing any of this by the way, rather that the narrative that comes out often concerns me.

A fair point to raise, in the same way but never really highlighted (more the opposite), not every muslim is a jihadist terrorist.

Hitler was involved in socialist politics, he just disliked jews, same with Stalin, he was quite happy to hate on jews. There’s no political or religious cause that benefits from gunning down a bunch of innocent bystanders.

That’s what always boggles the mind with events like these.

Targeting politicians or other senior people, whilst still abhorrent, at least shows some sort of reasoning behind it, twisted as that may be.

Attacking innocent people, including women and children, all of whom are unarmed and unable to defend themselves against this type of attack is peak cowardice.

My thoughts with everyone who’ll spend this coming Christmas in mourning instead of being with their loved ones.

You're quite wrong about the Hitler thing. The policies of the NSDAP were already in place before he arrived, he had no interest at all in socialism and a pure hatred for communism via WW1.
What left and right are these days is anyone's guess, it's just theatre. I'm a true old school socialist. That hasn't ever changed.

'The Jews' is a term and a generalisation only. If you wish to foment anger against one side you have to create the other deserving of apparent sympathy.

No he fluffin' wasn't. Please do not think that socialism is akin to his 'national socialism' because they're pretty much the antithesis of each other.

Without having the time to go into too much detail, apart from a fleeting use of the socialist badge for opportunist reasons in 1919, he despised the idea.

Redistribution of the wealth? Nah, he was fully supported privatisation and sough the support of the wealthy barons, as long as they helped rearm.

Removal of class barriers? K'in ell, he brought in more barriers than many others with his fuelling of the rich and the division of the society.
